PHD (Projects Half Done) Club

PHD Club is an enjoyable approach to tackle those lingering projects, engage in show-and-tell, and possibly win a prize! Our meetings will occur every other month, allowing you plenty of time to revisit and complete your unfinished tasks.

To participate, review your half-finished projects and select six that you aim to finish this year, numbering them from 1 to 6. Prior to each meeting, we will randomly draw a number, and that will be the project you focus on for the following gathering. If you complete this project and bring it for show-and-tell, you will earn a chance in the monthly drawing (attendance required to win). Additionally, every completed project will increase your chances in a final drawing at year-end (again, presence is necessary to claim the prize).

BOOK & A BLANKET

We are excited to relaunch our Book & A Blanket campaign, which aims to provide both engaging books and cozy, warm quilts to the Wagon Warriors organization. This initiative is designed to help comfort and support children who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, offering them a sense of warmth and distraction during a challenging time.

Anytime from January 2nd thru January 11th, you are invited to bring a new, wrapped children's book to exchange in our exciting event. After enjoying and reading the chosen book, you will have the opportunity to create a unique and charming child's quilt, which should measure no larger than 50 inches by 65 inches. We encourage you to submit your finished quilt to the shop by the deadline of May 15, 2025, so that it can be showcased during the highly anticipated 2025 Wisconsin State Shop Hop. Remember, the quilt that receives the most votes in the Viewer’s Choice category will be rewarded with a fantastic prize of a $25 gift certificate. The quilts and books will again be donated to Warrior Wagon. An organization whose mission is give collapsible wagons filled with all kinds of goodies to newly diagnosed childhood cancer families.
