Intro to Paper-Piecing

You asked and

Jennifer listened!

If you've been interested in trying paper-piecing but have felt intimidated, now is your chance. Jen is here to guide you. Whether you have a project waiting to be completed or you’re starting fresh, this class is designed to help you through the process.

In this class, you will learn the technique of paper-piecing while working on blocks. Please note that this is not a complete project. You’ll have the opportunity to design your own project using the blocks, such as a hot pad, table runner, or wall hanging. Jen has selected three patterns (pictured above) for you to choose from, offering options that vary in complexity:

  • Bird Block

  • Circle of Geese

  • Carrots

Cost of the Class: $25.00

Class time: 9:00 - 12:00 (but Jen will be here and available all day to help you)

Instructor: Jen Smiskey

You Will Need to Bring:

  • A bin of scraps

  • Plenty of background fabric

  • A glue stick

  • 1/4” beveled edge ruler

  • Open toe sewing machine foot

  • Precision tweezers

A light table is optional but can be beneficial. Join us for this creative session and enhance your sewing skills!
